20 Weeks

Woo hoo! We’re half way there, baby!
This week, Baby Scott is supposed the be the size of a small cantaloupe. I would definitely believe that. I’ve been able to feel baby whenever its hanging out on the right side of my belly. Its a little uncomfortable, but pretty neat to be able to feel the little squirt so early. Last week, I suffered from some exhaustion and have been trying to learn to pace myself. There is so much that I want to do and I usually try to do it all at once, which leads to a crash. I got a good bit accomplished this weekend, but got in some good rest, too. Its all about balance. Next Tuesday, we will be finding out the sex of little baby S. I have some fun pin boards created for a boy’s nursery and a girl’s nursery, so I plan on doing a little design board for each to share before we find out the sex. How exciting! Alston is still convinced that its a baby sister, but this weekend he told me that he wanted a baby sister or brother. I think he’ll be happy either way.

Weight: 120 lbs (?) I haven’t weighed this week. I think I’ve been subconsciously avoiding the scale. Or consciously. Whatever.
Waist Line: approximately 36″
Signs & Symptoms: Headaches and forgetfulness, and I think my fingers were swollen when I woke up this morning. Oh joy!
Looking Forward To: finding out the sex and starting work on the nursery!
