Tonight we braved the line at Bass Pro Shops to see Santa in his workshop. Despite the look on his face, Alston was very excited to see him, unlike the two little toddlers that were in line ahead of us. They were terrified. It definitely proved to be worth the wait when we put Alston down and he ran straight to Santa and climbed up in his lap. Once he got up there, he had little to say, but I almost had to beg him to get down. We told Santa we wanted a yo-yo for Christmas and he gave us a candy cane. We’re looking forward to baking cookies for Santa later this week. Daddy thinks chocolate chip would be best. 😉

Here’s a little side shot… He was quite content in Santa’s lap. Too bad the camera guy couldn’t catch that sweet little smile.
