Well, it seems that closing is still at least 10 days away. That makes it almost impossible for us to have our “house party”, as planned. So, I took a deep breath and formulated plan B. Since the location has been changed, the theme didn’t really work; so I kind of had to start from scratch. Luckily, I have lots of great ideas in store and can’t wait to share the pictures… Until then, here’s the final invitation:
I’m actually a little relieved, because I don’t have to worry about getting moved in and have the house presentable enough for company. Granted, this year’s party is going to be very small–mainly just family–and I probably wouldn’t mind them seeing my house before we’ve gotten settled in. However, that’s one less thing I have to worry about.
