Alston went a couple of weeks without so much as a peep. He grunted. I have no idea why, but thankfully he has finally started using his words again.

BLUE
Apparently, this is his favorite color, because everytime he sees something blue, he says “Bwoo!”

OCTOPUS
He had to have learned this from Nick Jr. He was playing with a bath toy and siad what I thought was apples. When I looked to see what he had, I corrected him and said “oc-to-pus”. He then repeated me, “ah-pus”. Pretty close! (He had it right the first time, I just didn’t have my mommy ears on.)

YELLOW
Since Alston knows the color blue, we’ve been working on our other colors. I think he has yellow down, too. It sounds like “yeh-dow”. So cute.
