Friday, I took a day off from work to spend some time with my little guy. We decided to have a Mommy & Alston playdate at the zoo.

Alston’s favorite animals were the pelicans…

And the monkeys…

We grabbed a bite to eat before taking a splash in the water fountains…

Alston was a little apprehensive and wanted me to accompany him…

But he finally warmed up a little, and played for a few minutes…

Then we called it a day, because we were pooped!

While visiting the zoo, we noticed they were doing quite a bit of construction. Alston was just as interested (if not more) in the tractors, as he was in the animals. This one happened to catch my eye, as well.
