After rolling out of bed {late} to a room that was a chilly 61 degrees, I took a short and not-hot-enough shower, pulled my hair into a messy bun, forgot to put on mascara, and dashed out the door… but not before I snapped this picture. This is what our mornings look like when Daddy is out of town.

Then, since I was already late, I popped inside Walgreens for emergency mascara {because I didn’t realize that I didn’t have any on until I was a 10 minutes from work} and big fat crayons for my little guy.
